Welcome to the MGT286: Management of Information Systems and Technology website. This site is intended for students enrolled in the course. As a student you will find here links to resources you need to learn the course, complete all requirements and pass with flying colors! The links on the left will open the Course Syllabus, Textbook and Course Resources. The textbook we will use in this course is ActiveBook Essentials of MIS (5th Edition) by Kenneth C. Laudon and Jane P. Laudon. Click on the picture of the cover to open the eBook in portable document format (pdf). The book is 11 MB and will take time to load. The compressed eBook is also available in zip and gz format (5.3 MB each), the latter for Linux machines. However, if you want the eBook and all resources on CD-ROM, open and fill-up this order form.
